One time, I was on a flight, sitting in the aisle seat. Across the aisle was an extremely large, sassy woman. As people boarded she kept talking about how uncomfortable she was. When she tried to buckle her seatbelt, it wouldn’t fit.The flight attendant brought her an extension belt. The woman held the belt out to see its full length, then said to the flight attendant in disgust, “Just how fat do you think I am?”

She then put the extension belt on. She struggled to buckle it, and only did so with great difficulty. It took all of my willpower not to say, “Fatter than one extension belt, apparently.”
